Fort renamed?

Playing as the CSA, I took Louisville and built a fort there. It was named Fort Jefferson. I placed a leader with the fort defender trait inside the fort along with around 2000 men. Later in the game I noticed the fort was now named Fort Franklin Gardner.
What makes this a little more odd is the fact I also built a fort at Richmond and have had a leader in it the entire time and it is still named Fort Richmond.
Anybody else seen this?
