Gettysburg 150th

Stupid question maybe.
I was a bigger Civil War buff when I was younger but I live about 2 hours from Gettysburg here in Pennsylvania and I was wondering if anybody here particularly knew how ridiculous it'll be this anniversary. I figure that something like the 150th might be unique enough in a way that's once in my lifetime that it might be worth coming through and was wondering if any of you have any experience with battlefields on such occasions? Furthermore I have an uncle that just moved to Gettsyburg so I even have a place to stay. I've been there 3-4 times before but never on the anniversary. Any idea what'll be going on this year?
Thanks

What I know is that there will be a convention named HISTORICON at Fredericksburg around July 20 and that Ageod will be there, demoing CW2

It will probably have a lot of people. I believe there will be re-enactments, and lots of celebrations as well.

I am not sure the plans for the actual 150th as I live in London now, however I was in Gettysburg for the weekend that the whole 150th Civil War celebrations started and it was a pretty big deal. Many vendors, activities, and an absurd amount of synchronized cannon fire! I can only imagine the upcoming celebration will be a big deal. Wish I was closer!

Will the demo be available on all days or just a specific time? I live about 30 minutes from there.

Will be joining the 24th Michigan on the 2nd day of battle
See Battle Plan below.
As fate may dictate, will be advancing southwards on the 5th of July

I heard a radio bulletin today that said 200,000 people are expected to visit Gettysburg over the next ten days. Maybe it's not the best idea to go

So did anybody go? Somebody must have. It's a great place to visit. By far the most popular and preserved battlefield from what I understand, been there 3 times myself but not in a few years

Three days in Gettysburg. Came away limping but in triumph.
Currently in Atlanta awaiting transfer to the Heimatfront.
Will report later when on station again.
