Naval Leaders

I'm almost embarrassed to even mention this after so much time playing an aggressive naval game :wacko: , but the standard ability of a naval leader is that he gives the fleet he is leading a 25% speed bonus in moving (according to the tool-tip on the icon); only it doesn't work. Fleets lead by navel leaders and fleets without are the exact same speed.

Is something broken, or are they really navel leaders? ;)

Leaderless fleets have time delay before they make a move. The delay depends on the fleet size and a random factor. In a way, every naval leader gives its fleet a speed bonus this way.

I think the above is WaD at this point. 25% on top of the other benefit would be too much. Maybe change the tooltip to say that the default admiral ability just lowers the move delay?

At this point everything is locked down, so whether by intention or not, we've got it for better or worse. The tool-tip is worded the same as for fast-movers, so I would expect it to work the same.

I've only just recently been using naval leaders to cycle worn-down blockade flotillas and empty supply squadrons in and out of the boxes and noticed that for example during good weather it still takes 19 or 20 days to shuttle between the Atlantic Blockade and New York City with or without a leader.

The Update File mentions nothing about a change nor could I find anything in the forums, so I wondered if this were intentional.

There is something amiss with the terrain aliases for this ability {Seaman}.
