Transports and Supply

Hi, I have two questions about transports.
1. If a depot has no supply as it is under siege, and it has a harbor, if I put some transports in the harbor, will the supply transfer to the depot on the next turn?
2. If a division has no general supply, and it is put in a transport, will the division use the transport supply?
Thanks,
Charles

1)No
2)Yes, but while aboard, it won't defend anymore

Regarding number 2, then could I just transfer the supply wagon to be filled up.

No, though supply is shared within a stack for consumption, there is no way to transfer supply stock between units.
I don't know if I'm clear, since the nuance is quite subtle for that matter

Just to make sure I understand, infantry, for example, while on board a fleet will refill there normal supply levels from a transport ship. However, supply units won't.

Yes, you got it
Anyway, in your situation, you really need to open a water supply route to your besieged structure, else you may evacuate with your transport, as you really don't want to surrender your division, do you ?
