Talk about incompetence, my guys don't have a chance do they?
I might as well switch to playing in french or german.

Not sure what your problem is. Pittsburg Landing is on the Tennessee River just south and across the river from Savannah, Tennessee. It would be located in the McNairy region just between Savannah and Corinth. It is not marked as such on the game map.

Well the Shiloh scenario told me to crush Grant at Pittsburg Landing.
But if it's not on the map then I've as much chance as a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat that isn't there.
So I'll have a go in French just for the hell of it as it's New Year.
Incidentally, I got a stalemate in the elephant scenario by withdrawing way off to the south west. That confused them.

Yikes - the "incompetence" I assumed was mine in not even being able to find somewhere on the map. My poor pixel troops marching for days without a clue where they were, let alone where they were supposed to be.
Anyway, thanks for the tip and found Grant, or he found me.
"An officer who goes into battle without his sword is improperly dressed" Mad Jack Churchill - credited with the only WW2 kill with a longbow.
PS - got the same result playing in French as in English, curiously.

Just FYI, I took it the way you meant it when I read your post. I assumed you were making fun of yourself by saying your troops don't thans a chance. In fact, it made me laugh when I read it.

HA HA.
I decided to play Shiloh scenario. Couldn't find Pittsburg Landing on the map so did a Google search "Where is Pittsburg Landing?" and the sixth result was this thread from when I asked the same question a year ago.
