Yes. Merry Christmas from South Wales in the United Kingdom.

Now is it OK to burn down Washington on Christmas Day or should I wait until tomorrow?

Why do I get the feeling you'll receive little resistance to rampaging on Christmas Day? :w00t:

Let it buuurrrrnn..... :D

Merry Christmas. Celebrating later by firing up a new AACW campaign with the latest patch and likely purchasing ROP or RUS.

That is because some people don't like congress no matter who is in charge.

Or it is because of the time lag for the new congress to be sworn in. They are elected in November, but do not take office until January 6th.

Jim-NC, I suppose that it is a bit of both. i didn't like the old, but the new doesn't get the message that they can't keep doing things the same way. We must pull together rather than fighting on every front.

And now, back to our regularly scheduled program...

Discussions about current day politics in this forum can be like opening Pandora's Box, as they can be anywhere else.

Now if folks want to talk about the politics of 1861-1865 I'm all in, but maybe in another part of the forum.

Yes, I would recommend you buy it 100%

I live in a remote part of Wales and use a laptop with a data dongle and it took me ages to download and several attempts but it was well worth it.

I am torn at times whether to play AACW or RUS but RUS is great with the new units but sadly there is not yet a wikipedia on RUS that can help a new player out so you have to learn much yourself as the manual is not detailed enough in my humble opinion.

In fact I am off to restart the Grand campaign now I have come up with a plan to have my Army Commanders sit in centralised locations and have their corps operate within their sphere of influence. I am going to smash those damn commies once and for all.
