Just a couple of things I ran into in my current game that I found interesting and wanted to share.
--
I think I opened a new national cemetery.
This wasn't such an amazing feat as you might think. Quantrill was sitting across the Mississippi above Memphis threatening to come over and rain hell on my depots. So I sent Benjamin H. Grierson and James H. Wilson (both cavalry commanders) with an *ss-load of cavalry and horse-artillery to pay them a social. I was surprised when Quantrill and Co. holed up in Madison, but never look a gift horse in the mouth. So I sat on top of them and even sent a supply train so the Grierson, Wilson and the cavalry wouldn't starve while baby-sitting Quantrill and his raiders.
Imagine my surprise when after breaching and finally attacking Madison that there was a bit more than just Quantrill in the mouse-trap. I still don't know if Van Dorn shared the fate of Quantrill and the rest, but it made me blink.
I think the 'H.' stands for Havoc.
--
My game has been infiltrated by the Animaniacs.
After building the first division of a brand new invasion army I noticed that Pinky and The Brain and taken them over. Check the division name.
Should I send the to a secluded island in the Arctic or set them loose on the South?
