Moving artillery in off-map boxes

In the new version, for some reason it seems like the U.S. artillery batteries on the west coast can never move to the Southwest or Rockies boxes. I gave them orders, and the game said it would take 72 days to get there. Next turn, I go back and check and it is 112 days, next day 64, and so on. They've been en route for more than a year and still haven't arrived. Is this intentional? If so, maybe they should just be frozen out there.

I know the trails were difficult but if thousands of wagon loads of personal effects and little kids could make it from Independence MO to Oregon and California and Utah, I would think that some U.S. Army artillery batteries could make it the other way.

I've been able to move all US regular artillery in the offmap boxes to Sioux City (iirc) in 1.15 without a problem. Maybe you got hit by really bad weather and your units also had horribly low cohesion, both slowing down movement. I didn't try moving them into the death trap (supply) South west though...

Yes these units usually have trouble. Make you sure you start their move in good conditions. They'll arrive safely eventually.

I've never had problems with these units. It's very important they have a good cohesion level although.

Greetings! ;)
