So i am playign my first confed game and i want to make sure I understand a coupel fo things:

Marines provide the movement bonus tot he entire group their in--hence only 1 is needed for each corps (and it doesn't matter if they are in a Division or loos in a corps right)?

Cavalry commanders--do tehy actually need to command the cavalry unit to provide teh bonus--or can they command the stack? For instance I have the cavalry general who start in VA (forget name) commanding an all cavalry stack--but with another/non cavalry general commanding the big cavalry brigade--does the whole stack get teh cvalry leader bonus or just the brigade directlyh commanded by the cav general?

I think you are right on that.

For the stack in which they are located, I does not matter whether or not they are in command. All cavalry receive the bonus.
However, if he is the highest ranked leader of the stack and of all of the other stacks in the same region, then all cavalry in their stack and the others in the entire region get the bonus too!(see attached pic)
