This won't be easy, in fact it will be rare and quite difficult, though definitely possible. And believe us, the face of the war changes drastically.

What are the possible triggers for Mexican/British/French intervention in the war?

A decent chance for British or French intervention makes the civil war a completely balanced contest.

This has to be fine tuned...it will be based, mostly, on some key VP locations to be taken / held by either side, plus some events (e.g. The Trent Affair, or French intervention in Mexico)

It'll be nice to also have "what if" scenarios featuring a certain intervention of European powers.
