quickest way to find a general

it seems to me that the ledger filter buttons are different then what they used to be when searching for units, specifically generals. unless i am mistaken i thought there used to be a way to filter generals. what is the quickest way to find a certain general using the leger?....without scrolling through a huge force list.

At the bottom of the filter buttons is a button without an icon. Clicking it will switch to the other set of filter buttons you are familiar with, including I believe the second which is 2-stars, the general filter button.
Hope that helps, I ran into the same problem and found it by accident.

Yes, since a couple of patches ago AACW was retrofitted with the new double ledger introduced in WIA.
Now you have the usual units ledger and also a new and very useful forces ledger.
You can change form one to teh other using the bottom Benihana explains or just by hitting F1

I hope in the future (AACW2!) the method of switching ledgers is more obvious. I love the wide variety of filters but hate reading the manual for minutae, and it took me forever to stumble across it.
Hehe I copied you, hope you don't mind! As I said in another thread, I loved playing with them as a kid (of course they were much simpler) and was reminded by your avatar.
