Killed A Stack of Union Officers

I annihilated a Union army led by Joseph Hooker in 1862 that wandered into the Petersburg region. In the very last battle that finished off the army, every single Union general commanding a division or higher was killed. In a previous battle John F. Reynolds had been killed as well.
Does this normally happen?
The Union is now in deep doodoo.

I think more generals should be killed. I like it that they're not, but in the Civil War there was a good chance you were going to be killed or grievously wounded.
Killing all of them at once was definitely odd. I'm going to win the game now I think. They moved their capitol to Philadelphia and I've taken D.C. Slavery will persist until the 20th century now. Yay! Haha.
Your change is probably more historical, by the way. Armies in the field were never really surrounded and annihilated.

One star leaders are normally the most at risk during combats. Two stars are greatly protected. Three star leaders are immune to combat loss. But if an entire command is destroyed then all leader- regardless of rank are prone to be wounded or lost. When leaders die they can enrich your opponent with lots of points.

ps Jackson died on today's date 10th May, 1863 eight days after being wounded by CSA troops.

Sounds good. I like the idea of a slightly higher percentage of general deaths. It might should be connected to whether or not they are division, corps, or army leaders... and maybe their rank. Perhaps certain officers should be given a "leads from the front" tag so they or more oft in harms way (A.S. Johnston and Jackson).

Does that mean that a division commander could be killed without his division wiped out? Because if that's the case, there would be massive cp penalties.
