Unknown event type 169

Using v1.12a rc4 union pbm game. I got this message during the turn
21/97 Unknown event type 169
The csa were in the process of a river assault on st.louis if that is any help.

This should be the backup folder from the previous turn late jul 61. run the turn and you should see the message appear.
do you want me to email this backup folder to ageod support ?

My opponent is the host so I will check with him re the files. Surely all the backup files for 1861 are going to be too big to upload to the forum ?

It is now early oct 61 and I am seeing another odd message

I can confirm this event type 171 error ... Seen it several times with RC2.

Thanks for the report.
The problem is caused by a missing string, so it's nothing game breaking.
The string is missing for this new feature:
[font="]- Fleets with too low ammo or too low cohesion will switch to defensive posture and abort all out attack ROE, before a battle. Land units with too low cohesion will switch to defensive posture, abort all out attack ROE, abort structure assault before a battle[/font]

Yes, the same. The feature works, just some message like "Due to a lack of ammunition the fleet changed to a defensive posture" is missing.
