Spectial ability question

When I have a stack level applicable ability (pontonner for example) , if I put a unit with this ability in a brigade, does the whole stack take benefit from this ability or do I have to put it at the stack level?

(Keep in mind that units can't be placed in brigades unless merged... ;) )

A unit/element with the pontoneer ability will still have it if placed inside a division; the stack will still benefit from it :)

Is there a current list of stack level abilities?

After all the patches I´m not sure if there have been any significant changes :confused:

They are all in the ...ACW/GameData/Abilities/... folder. For your information due to recent code changes, the latest abilities, UnitSkirmisher and Armored do not actually work. I was informed of this by Pocus after their inclusion. This includes Clovis' Mod's use of his UnitSkirmisher also. I'll probably be removing them later when I catch up with other work.



i was aware that the "armored" ability was defunct due to problems with tying to 'attributes' but the "unitskirmisher" was originally a variation of "skirmisher" changed from leader to unit.

In what way do the code changes affect it and would they also affect other abilities changed from leader to unit?
