Oooh, this looks *good*!

So, I found my wallet safely at work where I had forgotten it on Friday. Bought the digital version and installed to my work lap-top (I was on lunch hour, honest!). Patched to 1.11d and installed the enhanced history mod. Launched the Far West Scenario (from July 1861 and on).
Holy hot damn! This game looks *good* compared to the demo! New tooltips, new buttons to push. And you can actually see which areas are snow covered
And what about the Far West scenario?! Why doesn't the demo have this? Beautiful, elegant, low unit-density. It feels soooo smooth. I wasn't immediatly overwhelmed by gazillions of units doing things I don't understand. Instead I have plenty (but not too much!) of room and time to manouver around with a few toys. I understood the command structure much easier, I understood how and why things move as they do, and I even seem to believe I understand the combat results.
At the momemnt, when I haven't checked out all the other scenarios included with 1.11, *this* scenario is the *ultimate introduction* to AACW! Who ever made this scenarios, I salute thee!
I just wish those suckers who test with the demo and throw the game away in disgust would instead see the current status of the game and especially the Far West scenario, instead of 1.05b version and an area full-crammed with units...
Excellent job with patching the game so far! Going directly from 1.05b to 1.11d, and I can say I am floored in astonishment
