Changing generals in command of an army

How do I do this? I moved the 3-star Hooker into the Army of the Potomac stack. I pushed the button marked "change command", the tooltip telling me that I was going to give up so many morale points and so many victory points for throwing Halleck out of a job. Hooker took over the HQ and the gun, but the stack was still identified as "Henry Halleck's command". Even when I moved Halleck out of the stack, it remained "Hooker's command", not the Army of the Potomac. Is Halleck staging a coup?

I believe you hold your mouse over the stack and <alt> <click> the stack and a box comes up allowing you to rename the stack. You may have to experiment just a bit.
Read down a little in the last patch description, it's described there.

This should be posted at the top of the forums in 26 point font. People have been requesting this since before AACW came out.

Nothing to be done about it concerning announcement, it was actually prematurely released unannounced to be tested. It had a slight bug (couldn't use commas) which has subsequently been fixed.
But it's not an army

My concern is not the name but the fact that the force is no longer an army. Hooker is in command of a small unit called "Army of the Potomac", but his whole force (called "Hooker's command") is clearly not an army. It has huge command problems, all the subordinate corps are not corps any more, and if I try to organize a stack as a corps it says I can't do it because there is no army around. If I go to the command menu for Hooker's force, there is an option to create it as an army (calling itself the Army of the James now) but at a huge cost in morale and vp's for bypassing such worthies as Fremont and Banks.
Edit: I got around the problem by dismissing Halleck as commander, then moving Halleck out of the stack, then appointing Hooker. I appear to have paid two costs in morale and victory points. The "replace commander" button doesn't seem to be working properly, though, or else I don't understand how it is supposed to work.

There was an issue in the 'swap commander' button order and it is fixed in the current (unreleased) code.

yes, language translation will be done, but the main menu will still be in English for the time being.
