Can a unit be deleted? For example,if I have an unsupported supply or artillery unit in danger of being captured, is there a way to destroy it before the enemy gets their grubby little hands on them?
Thanks

This would make for a good patch addition though. Historically both sides (mostly the South) made sacrifices such as scuttling ships and destroying abandoned supply wagons to avoid enemy capture. You can burn your own depots in the game...so why shouldn't you be able to sacrifice certain units?

Could Athena be taught how to decide? Every now and then she'll send a single artillery unit on a long-range river raid or something - if she destroyed it a turn later, even the distraction value would be lost and she would just be flushing expensive units away.

Considering this has been standard practice amongst gunners almost as long as black powder came to the west I believe it is long overdue to be included.

Also if you can torch depots and rail why not wagons and supply units.
Whole thing holds no logical arguement that I can see.

Any dissenters?

If there is room in the interface and someone can make-up a button, AACW style, then there is no real problem adding it.

BTW, this is more of a general game question than a strategy discussion => moved :)
