Movement seizure question

I am CSA

the USA AI moves in to a region takes a city then moves out of the region
all in the same turn


how?

If the city was unoccupied then that would probably be why. If he had to fight for it....I'm not totally sure.

I THINK...you can move into an area....take a city in a fight...and then move back out...although I've never tested it...anyone wanna take a crack at that one?

yes it was empty


but when i try the same thing with a raider deep in the north west it does not work for me

is this an AI exploit?

Just use assault posture on your move path. Units should follow orders even after a fight if it is small enough.

Define "raider" Irregulars do not take cities I believe, just burn things in their path.

Also, Indians can't capture cities. They can only capture Indian villages.

With BOA2, we also added their possibility to capture and burn settlements and stockades (see Fallen Timbers scenario) :indien:
