And if you quote it (especially if there's unwanted URLs or mail addresses in it), it just means there's more for us to clean up afterwards
Lately, there has been a significant increase in spam, but not to unmanageable levels. Some we've discovered (and handled) on our own, while others have been brought to our attention by assorted forum members. I'd like to take the opportunity to thank those who take the trouble to bring unwanted postings to our attention. This may surprise some, but we aren't online 24/7, and an e-mail (e.g. by clicking the "report post"-button) or a message on IM goes a long way in getting the "Big Guns" brought to bear

You can find it to the left, in the row of icons under people's forum nick (and avatar, for the forumites who have such), to the right of the "online" indicator. It's the icon that looks like a danger sign, like this:
