Voices for a new game

ABORTEDDear players,
We would like to integrate some battle shouts in our upcoming game, Napoleon's Campaigns. Basically we either have to find actors, or find players speaking natively the language (or with native accent) doing it for us (in exchange of a free copy of the game, that is :coeurs

.
So, if you want to apply, you need to record these sounds (in mp3 if possible, but wav will do):
a) Charge! (or more along Chaaaarge!!!) in 3 variations
b) Retreat!! (3 variations)
c) Form Square!! (3 variations)
d) Hold (or Hold the line)!! (3 variations)
e) Fire!! (3 variations)
f) Forward!! (3 variations)
For
one (well if you speak several, perform for several!) of these languages: FRENCH SPANISH GERMAN ENGLISH (english, not american accent), RUSSIAN
Your voice would then be processed by a professional sound artist, which would add battles sound in the back (Michael Huang, the sound artist behind the AACW sounds, who did sounds for the Dominions game too [a very fine game by the way

])
To get a better picture of what we want, just look at these files:

You would propose for Italian? Can be of use

I'm offended! You seem to be discriminating against me just because I don't speak the King's English. I can assure you that my Eastern Kentucky accent would not detract from the historical flavor of the game for one instant. On second thought, I couldn't stand to hear myself speak these commands in the game. Good call.

I guess there's not much of a choice...it appears i'm the only italian here

Eh oui, c'était pourtant in english "it's the beginning of the end".
Pitoyable et tellement risible...

J'y songe maintenant.

Tut tut Invictus. I know your eastern Kentucky accent must sound as bad as my twang. Next, Jeff Foxworthy jokes...not.

The query to get players doing some voices is ABORTED, by lack of people (and time is of the essence here...).
We have already asked our regular sound artist to find actors for that. Thanks for your interest

Too bad that I could not have heard some of my fellow players. Well, good luck!

Dang. I've been ill for some days, and my voice has been sub-par; had hoped I had time to get a better voice before submitting anything

If you were pressed for time, Pocus, why not mention it?

I'm unsure it would have changed something. I wanted to see if players could potentially be interested. But do not despair, for VGN, I'm sure we will need some Norwegian voice (can you do Swedish too?)

Norwegian I can do, and English too (I'm fairly sure of, at least; that was were I planned to make an attempt here).
I wouldn't count on my Swedish, or Danish for that matter. I could probably do them well enough to fool non-Swedes and non-Danes, though

Well for Italian this is another story, we did not ask the sound engineer to find an actor, so the 'slot' is still open, if you want to try. Use your most rough and rude voice when you shout, those men were not weakling

I keep your proposal for VGN then.

I didn't do it yet because i don't think the windows recorder is a good one. If you've got a prog to suggest then shoot...otherwise i ll proceed.
