Good sites for Wargames

Hi,

I was just reading the request Pocus made for some of us to go and post some messages on the Paradox and Matrix Forums and it prompted me to wonder what sites people visit generally.

I am a regular at the Wargamer. Nothing seems to change much... perhaps 'cos its August or maybe there just isn't much happening in the wargaming world. But that got me thinking... apart from Ageod where else is worth spending some precious time reading good AARs or whatnot? The Armchair General?

I'd be interested to know what people read and where they hear about new stuff coming along.

Hope you can help.

The ACG website offerts a lot of good content but the PC wargames dedicated forum is pretty quiet. :(

I should have posted this one before. Maybe this thread is not the right place to do it in but has anyone checked out this website:

http://www.the-underdogs.info/

There are some really really classic old school wargames from the 1990s and early 2000s most of which are abandonware or free. My fav has been CivWar General 2 (a game I might have actually purchased a few years back).

maybe worth a look if you haven't seen it before and have a few moments to spare.

Hey thanks I've just checked it out... :cwboy: ...so many wargames and so little time! I can't believe the size of their index.

What I hadn't properly understood until I had a poke around the site was that Advanced Squad Leader is still being published but now by Multi Man Publishing.
