Stop the Spammers

I'm sorry, but having to wade through 20+ pages of spam to find actual content is just not my idea of fun any more.
Please do something, anything to stop it.

I'm trying to keep up, but I'm "only" a limited admin.
Hope the full admins can do something, maybe limit post per new user to 5 per hour?
or institute "Kaptcha"?

I know it can be a hassle for the users that come to use the forum correctly, but given the alternative I'm for it (kaptcha).
Hope others post their thoughts.

Yeah, I casually browse the forums a little, mostly to eavesdrop to learn new tips, tricks, and strategies, or learn something I didn't know about the game engine.
