Hi, I'm the new guy in town.

I hope this is an appropriate place to introduce myself. The only other forum I've ever participated in was the Jedi Council Forums formerly at theforce.net, so I'm still pretty much a novice at this sort of thing.
I want to say that I discovered AGEOD games after picking up the first Civil War game: The Blue and the Gray, at Goodwill back in 2014 and I have been a big fan of AGEOD ever since.
I've been playing turn based strategy games since I can remember: my first was on the Texas Instruments home computer, and the game was called Sengokou Jidai or something like that. Set in feudal Japan, it was a great game for the time. I've played Desert Commander on the original Nintendo NES, all the way up through the Total War series.
I have 3 AGEOD games: The Blue and the Gray, To End All Wars and Thirty Years War and would love to make some friends here to discuss and hopefully play by email.
If this isn't the right place for introductions, I'd appreciate a little nudge in the right direction, and thanks for reading my self indulgent post, lol.
