Hi all,

My computer just died... I'm looking for a new one. Is windows 8 ok for the older ageod games like RUS and WIA. I'm scared to death of a new system but I was running vista which was supposed to be the worst.
Thanks
Jack

They should work. You still have the compatibility mode to run them in vista/win7 mode.

All Ageod games should work on Windows 8 - I know BOA, WIA, AACW, right up to BOR & CWII run just fine.

The key to running in Windows 8 is to always run as an administrator. The default is to not allow permissions needed for game routines to work, but all these games run just fine as an administrator.

Too, it may be needed to add WinXP compatibility and Removing scaling options.
