AGE games and options

Simple question, but if it has been answered here before I can't find it:

Do game options (e.g. foreign intervention, historical attrition) apply to games or turns? In other words if I start a new AACW game, are the options in effect when I start the game somehow recorded in the savegame and permanent to that game for every turn? Or can the options be changed mid-game?

If the later, do the newly selected options need to be set prior to loading the savegame, or can they be changed mid-turn. That is, say I load a saved game then return to the menu and change from standard attrition rules to historical attrition then return to the turn in progress - is the change effective from that point on, or future turns, or not at all because it had to be selected at start of scenario?

Thnx

Hi!

I'm pretty sure Pocus commented on that some time ago. IIRC it seems you can change options mid game and they will have effect. No need to start over a campaigns or scenario
With some you may have to restart the game for them to take effect (language change for example and probably memory settings and the like). But i think it's not needed on game play options
Regarding your second question, i'm not so positive. My best bet is that the optional rule set will be used on the next turn process.
Cheers

As Arsan says, the options are not stored in saved game, so are read each time the turn is processed. If you change your mind during your turn, this does not matter, as all computing is done 'inter-turn', during the hosting phase.
