Save Load Error

Hello and good afternoon,
I've been playing TYW a bit this past week, but when I click load, the game I am currently playing is nowhere to be found. I lost the game once already this week after I got to February 1620 and closed for the day. When I clicked on Load, it sent me to the save game files and the only Protestant game I had was for February, 1619. I restarted from there and got to April, 1621. On leaving the game and returning, the game file was back at February, 1619.
Please advise on what the problem is.
