Feature or Bug? Command Rating Change when new Group?

Hello!

I am playing the the Paladins Scenario as suggested by Tutorials when first starting out. I am confused regarding the Command Rating and how it changes for General . If I click on General G. Frederick (a Protestant Commander) I see his command rating listed as 3-2-1. However if I "Enable Group Command" for G.Frederick, his command rating drops to 1-0-0 and stays that way as long as he remains a Group commander. This however does not happen to my other Protestant commander in the game General Mansfeld. His command rating is 3-2-3 and remains 3-2-3 even when I make him a group commander.

Is this a bug or a feature? If a feature, where is it documented in the manual. Thanks!!

This happens across all AGEOD games, I think it does tell you somewhere, but can't remember where. It is only for the turn that you enable group command . The next turn his stats will be back to normal.
I think it was done in other games to model the process of a new leader taking over a division and all that that entails.

Ah ok. This is my first AGEOD game. Thanks for the quick response. I also see why the other leader didn't go to 1-0-0 because he already was leading a group. I missed reference to this change of leadership stats in
the manual so I guess that's why I was confused.

Thanks again.
