I cannot figure it out - I have looked at the script and it correctly puts Poland into the French alliance but I cant stop the engine teleporting to bulk of the Grand Armee into the snowy wastes of Austria...

Vicberg or anyone else know what I need to do here?

Are you playing with latest public beta? You should get a passage right when the alliance is signed. Perhaps the alliance should be the first thing done, before giving regions though.

Amending the event script this way then.

Actually I think this version of the game is the second to most recent update - I will check it out tonight with the 5th Jan beta and report back.

It didn't work, you get expelled from the duchy of Warsaw (which isn't too catastrophic, you can get right back in, but frustrating).

Poland/GDoW is in the French alliance straight away so supply and access are available.

Interesting to note that teleportation only happens in regions with a structure (including depots) it looks like this is the game engine processing the change in in ownership (GDoW is a completely new faction controlling a region/structure not a reversion of an occupied region/structure back to its previous owner) and not a fault with diplomacy as in previous script (Tilsit, Pressburg).

Game engine needs to allow allied stacks to remain in region/structure after ownership change from Prussia>GDoW (infact in this case it also should allow hostile stacks to stay because the GDoW is not yet diplomatically reconised by the other belligerents).

Afraid this still happens with the latest beta patch - its a bit better in that it you can choose when to activate this event so I know all by corps wont be destroyed in the snow but still needs fixing as indicated in above post.

Weird, in the last patch the Alliance is signed before the change of region ownership! Pocus will need a save here... :bonk:

In version from yesterday morning the change was already there? If yes, a save would be handy indeed.
