Hi!

It seems that Kellerman's training ability doesn't work, at least regarding to french militia units. They don't improve with Kellerman commanding of the stack.

Same here, I regroup militia from Garde Nationale under his command but they stay... militia

WAD, Militia does NOT upgrade to regular troops in the current DB...so Kellerman ability works but is useless.

The DB works like in CW2, only volunteers can be trained into conscripts, militia (i.e. state militia in CW2) always remains militia.

Now if we were to change this, it could unbalance the game for many nations, so I am not in favor of modification here.

Thanks, I thought that it worked like in other games and you could train militia units into regular units.

Yup, that was the case in EAW and WIA, but not CW2 or this one.

If I may, couldn't you then just get rid of the ability or replace it with the master driller ability or whatever its name is, the one that gives exp and allows conscripts to go faster to normal and then vet ?
