When you control-click on a city, and examining some of the facilities...it mentions Land/naval construction capability. How does that apply, since war supplies seem to be an entirely different thing?

What structures are in the city are to the greatest extent consequential to building units. To know where you can build a unit, go into the unit pool with <F11>, select a unit, and note which regions on the map are highlighted (actually, all others will be darkened [low-lighted?] :neener: ). That's the most efficient and quickest way to know where you can build which units.

I've got the concept of certain units can be built in certain places, I'm more concerned what the terms Land/naval construction capability actually mean?

I'm still pondering this, it's not anything covered in the manual, or in another topic elsewhere.

Ahhh yes, I know what you're talking about now. The tool-tip on the structures; eg: Strasbourg (city) "Land Constr.Capa.: 15".

Those values are actually used in different games, where there actually is a restriction on the size of forces which may be raised in specific locations. They play no role in WON, but their display is a function of the engine. You may ignore them.
