Boulogne Quickfix prevents the game from loading.

just downloaded the quickfix and copied it in the region folder, overwriting 2 regions, now the game stalls in the loading screen on "loading file 1/3" !

Only checking the obviuous
There is regions folder inside graphics folder and inside gamedata folder. You 've put it in gamedata folder?

yep.

I was asked if I wanted to overwrite the two files, said yes, now it stalls when loading. Mystery.

Close/stop the operation. then restart the game.

Mine stalled the first time I changed these, then loaded ok the next time...

some wierd cache, I guess.....

I restarted the computer and it worked ! Thanks mate. Some weird cache probably as you said !

That doesn't work for me.

Restart game or computer then game, and it doesn't work.

I had to try twice one time after changed. Try again. After waitting, if still stuck, click on screen to get the Windows error message, then choose "close". Try again......
I am running Win 10, so I don't really know whhat other OS might do....

sorry about this little mess.....

Last resort: reapply patch Feb 4, and live with blocked port ....

I did the last resort. I'm running Win 10 as well.

EDIT: downloaded it again, and now it works.
