What is the top priority feature you would like to see added in Wars in Napoleon?

If you would like to see something else, post here.

I would fix the combat and related issues that the forum are talking about as quickly as possible so that everyone can start playing the game and praising it.

If that means a 1.01a rather than1.02 so be it. I really think this casualty issue has dwarfed other matters.

Have you tried 1.01? It changes battle behavior significantly.

Definately interested in better exp forces behaviour/interface - also should be possible IMO for the coalition leader to completely control the entire forces of a minor organized state (if you think this make things too easy just make this an option).

Obviously bug fixes are the top priority, and i'll check waht 1.01 already fixes, but battle losses, Pressburg peace sequence, occupying force supply status after a peace treaty, British fleet decomposition, etc...

But beyond that I would really like to see a more flexible diplomatic engine (ie option to give money, provinces, etc) and a better organisation of expeditionnary forces / fleet.

As an option yes, which would embed penalties (ie minus 1 or 2 in strategic rating to symbolise lack of motivation).

Enhanced diplomacy.

Not on list, but eventually I would like to see more reform options for the countries that occurred historically.

Thx a lot Pocus for your efforts! Its great to see devs so proactively interacting with fans & players. WoN is a wargaming milestone and should shine bright when launched on Steam, to gather a lot of positive attention from the start.

My special wish: Please include somehow the WIP Improved Graphic Assets Mod and Leader Portrait Mod in one of the upcoming patches.

Would be great if the General name correctness and potraits can be improved step by step. War in the West is doing this in a great way with every time more WW2 Generals included, based on the playerbase researched suggestions.

That ([MOD] Improved Graphic Assets) is already discussed with Philippe and YES  , it will be in one of the upcoming patches ASAP.

I need some more time to finish all Flag and some other Gimicks , so just stay tuned a bit longer please.
In the meantime feel free to post wishes/suggestions etc in my Thread

Indeed, a feature I would like to be implemented for the PBEM game, is the possibility to share resources and troops between players.

The AI is always going to be limited compared to a human player. I hope we can get password protected turns. The multiplayer aspect of the game desperately needs it.

I swear, you guys are the best game designers out there . It feels great to know that all our voices on forum are heard and that the devs take our suggestions seriously.

That being said, I would love to see giving regions as diplomatic option and old replacement system as an option (yay, both of my suggestions). Also, eventually, I would love to see enhanced diplomacy (a la MoTE) and a 1809 and 1812 start (it would be the best DLC ever). Keep up the good work.

Well I've been playing Last Flight of the Eagle and got some extreme results. 100% loss and a victory with 0% losses - my guys were bullet proof. I took photos because I'm too dim to do screenshots.

If anybody wants to replicate what I did:
All options were set to default
I played against the AI but did nothing - just waited to be attacked.

It's a bit strange because eventually losses in AACW and CW2 proved very coherent.

Yes a more flexible diplomatic function, wheel and deal, and a End Of All Wars, replacement spending screen.

Well I did a completely new install to 1.011 and I'm still getting this sort of thing. Sorry. The Spartans would be pretty impressed by Rowland Hill's performance.

But when this casualty thing is sorted; the ability to add delay would probably be my choice for 1.02.

ALL EVENTS should be reviewed to make sure that they work, and I'd like to see Leaders back "on top."

The old replacement system and leaders back on top :-)

Please bring back the LEADERS ON TOP. Also, I would vote for the RoP replacement system.

If cash can be given other than in reparations, I think it should be limited to a subsidy treaty that siphons cash periodically for the duration of a war or a term of some number of years.

My top priority would be to give an option to have all tooltips show white lettering on a black background only, as in so many other Ageod games. This is much easier to read.

The tooltips for forces and provinces are crucial, yet it can be hard to read them. Some of the colored print is hard to read on a black background, such as the dark blue print, the gray print, etc, and the white on black was far less tiring to read..

And thank you so much for asking. Just another reason why I am loyal to Ageod.

100% Agree !

A good Tooltip is one of the most important features in Games like WON .

And , sorry to say , the Tooltip in WON is very hard to read , clumsy and not well organized.
Instead of this strange backgroundcolor thing i would be better to use a simple .png like allmost all other strategy titles use.

Here an example of very well done tooltip , the ones from Europa Universalis IV :

The attachment swsLhPk.png is no longer available

The background there is a simple .png file , nothing special and should not be so much work to build into WON (hopefully :love :)

Also , for me as a modder , it would be great if the whole tooltip would be better modable (fonts ,colors , little icons in it , backgrounds, etc )
If you need help with some gfx assets Pocus , it would be an honor to assit you.

1. Some record of the battles an element fought in for immersion do you could have regimental histories.
2. The possibility of an element capturing the colors of another element like march of the Eagles

Reduction in the number of crashes. Now, with the latest version I crash almost at the end of every turn during the processing.

I'm afraid its gotten so bad I've uninstalled it from my computer and will wait for a couple months to see what is available then.

Its too bad, I was really looking forward to playing this but right now it is completely unplayable.

Improved diplomacy indeed, and less scripted events regarding coalitions to increase replayability.

Depending on how many years the longest campaign possible is, I'd like to see more economic / development options.

I voted for the diplomacy option. Tweak the casualty oddities, enhance the diplomacy options, and offer some better tooltips and WON will be good to go.
