TAB Functionality not working

Unless I'm doing something wrong, with Bavaria, I'm reducing all interest in all regions to neutral and then painting regions in Austria (northern). Close the TAB window down and reopen and Bavaria's "interest" is showing correctly. However, the Bavarian troops are still moving towards the original interests. In other words, they are moving south towards Regensburg and Muenchen.
Let me know if you need screen shots or a host file.

Here's a screen shot. Note the painted regions to the east of Bavaria, but the troops are still moving south. I painted these regions 2 turns ago.

I did something similar and it seemed to take several turns (as in 3 to 5 can't remember) for the Bavarians to notice. maybe there is a check every few turns ?

Same thing happening to me (just with Portugal in our PBEM and on another gameplay with Saxony). Is tab function even working? Is it WAD that you can have negative EP? Just curious.
Also, I am coming for you Frenchie.

It seems like you can buy one option as long as you are in the black EP wise, so if you have 2 EPs, you can buy a 50 EP option. But the following turn when you are in the red, you can't buy any. So it' more of a "you can't by options when in the red" rather than "you need to have the right amount of EP before you buy an option".

I have no idea why the British hated the French so much. What's so wrong about a little world domination?

As far as EPs, the game allows you to overspend. But it won't fire if you are in the negative. I haven't checked to see if it will fire if in positive and causes it to go negative.

The influence you can have on the AI is not absolute, this is only an incentive. Try also to define the south as an area of no interest, it will help.
