Errant Spanish Unit

This Spanish unit wandered around southern France for awhile, then decided to camp out in Paris. Maybe they expect an audience with the Emperor, or just failed basic map reading...

I must say I still have a hard time getting a grasp on the whole "independent allies " "lent troops/fleet" concepts.
