Id like to know the various wait times of other players when ending turns. I just used a stop watch and it took 57 seconds for the next turn. Is this a common wait time for others? Personally i feel its slow. Are there any ways to improve the speed of turns?
My specs:
Intel i7 3770k 3.5ghz quad core
16GB Ram
GTX980ti 6gb

I have a similar Pc and it's about 45-60 seconds for me with the "give the ai more time" option checked. I'm actually ecstatic with that, seems like very solid performance given all that's going on turn to turn.

Being under one minute is fast. The game has tons of units and data to process each turn. Some 30+ nations AI (6 majors and you), 4000 regions and many units.

Yes, about 1 minute is very good. I get about the same with my i7-5280@3.8GHz.

I never thought I'd even think about posting my system components on this forum

I also had under 1 minute turn times but that is slowly increasing as the game goes on. I am in Nov. of 1805 and now average just under 2 minutes. Still good for me and not a problem.

Sadly my laptop is a bit weak and turn times are already longish in spring 1805.. Anyway I could try to mitigate this as the game goes on ?

Kills units, have less countries at war at the same time. When reforms are enacted and there are more divisions and less brigades, it can help also.

I am at 1 minute plus a second or two of turn process, and then the time for battle resolution.

What kind of laptop? If you can stick some ram in it it would probably help.

I mean i guess 57 seconds isnt too bad but staring at the screen waiting for things to happen that whole time makes it feel long for me. MY only concern is once im deep into the turns example:turn 150, how drastically will the turn time increase?
