Two little questions regarding newest pics

Getting really excited about the release of what will no doubt be an epic game. I just saw the newest pics and had two simple questions. 1) What are the two figures at the top of the screen between conscripts and engagement points? and 2) I only noticed offensive and defensive posture choices so no assault or passive postures (but of course they will exist in ROE!)?
