Dear EAW players,

This screenshot shows the region where I can launch a chlorine attack. However I want to launch an attack on the 1275 stack not the 398 stack. Why is it not possible to gass that 1275 stack? In neither armies I have incorporated heavy artillery, only light and medium ones...[ATTACH]37811[/ATTACH]

I just had the same issue than you, it is not clear that Heavy artillery is required. But having heavy artillery close IS required.
You probably can do that because of the heavy artillery of the fort.

As per my knowledge, HA is a must, however, Forts do act as HA, so maybe that is what it is. This was discussed in the BETA phase and it was agreed that HA should be a necessity.

The reason- you want your guns to throw shells far into enemy territory such that your own troops are not part of "Collateral damage".
a.k.a. hara-kiri is to be avoided.
