advantage of planes in army stack

Hi guys, I'm sure I read on the forums a while ago that when a recon squadron is attached an army or corps stack you get an artillery hit or damage bonus, is that true or am I remembering wrong?

You do get additional command points (3?!) and I'd assume better detection/spotting values. As far as damage Bonus, sound like it'd apply for Fighters instead of Recon planes, but I'm not sure.

Currently we are enemies in our PBEM, yet i will give my honest opinion on this
You get extra command points, much better detection but the down side is your planes almost always fly and if there are enemy fighters in the region, you may lose planes.

If also you achieve a large recon success, in battle your artillery are 5% more accurate IIRC.

Cheers Pocus, I was sure I had read somewhere there was a arty bonus if recon planes where involved, I wonder if this kind of info should be in the ageod wiki :-)

It could but we need volunteers to flesh it out, or at least someone posting an article and Lodilefty will update the wiki.
