Hello!

I suffered a defeat in a specific territory, and now if I click those armies in that territory, a couple of the neighboring territories flash red. I don't recall what that means! Can anyone help me out?

I've glanced through the manual and couldn't find an answer, I almost think it reflects territories that I was attacked from?
Anyways, an answer would be amazing.

Thank you very much!

Flashing Red is always a zone of control issue. Next you need to know if you have sufficient force to ignore zone of control.

Most probable answer is your army was defeated - > it became weaker in strength and cohesion - > your forces can no longer go through some provinces where the enemy has a strong presence or zone of control.

Ah! This makes sense. Thank you, I didn't have previous control of some of the flashing territories.

In the bottom right corner, in the same area as the numbers that tell you what your CP is, there's an icon which tells you your aggregate patrol value vs. the enemy aggregate patrol value. Those are the numbers which determine your ZOC, and it would be advisable to learn the differences. ;)

The red areas are where the blood from your defeated soldiers runs so deep that it impedes movement... sorry Jinx, had to have a last dig... ;)

Well sir! In these early stages of the war, things do look grim, I think I may have to reserve any more excessive posturing until the war has progressed more in my favor, otherwise it may come back to bite me if things go pear shaped!

Cheers!
