I hate to sound impatient, and I do not wish you to rush, but this very interesting game is not playable for me right now, with the AI problems. It sounds like the worst of these problems are already fixed, and I am hopeful that the stacks of doom will become an unpleasant memory.
Truth is, I am really excited about this game, and find it hard to wait for the patch.
I am just asking for an estimate, as waiting is hard.
Thanks again, EAW team, for all your hard work!

Although I don't really play against the AI (I may make an exception for EAW though, very immersive game)
I am waiting on the Arty ROF and to much ammo tweaks so I can get 3 pbems I have put on pause started again... I am not looking to hurry people, just some info would be awesome

Thanks

Try a PBEM in the meantime, vaalen. The game has few if any major bugs when all three players are manning the respective alliances.

As a SP-only guy, I hope they fix the AI.

Same here. But with so many other good games on the marked right now I can wait a little longer.

Kensai, I only do single player at this point, but I am glad to hear that PBEM is working well.

We now know that the next patch after the EAW one is "very soon". I guess that makes this patch ETA "very very soon"

In Spain the answer would be "maƱana". In North Africa "five minutes" ..
Give it up people, the patch will be finished when it is complete. Not before next week and not later than Christmas.

I have no idea when the patch is out but I thought it's clear that "soon" means between 1 week and 2 months, and a median would be 2-4 weeks.
Just based on my experience.

It's being given due diligence so when it's released a lot of people
will be very happy. Getting it right is better than getting it quick, no?

Hofstadter's Law: It always takes longer than you expect, even when you take into account Hofstadter's Law.
That is from Pocus' signature

We will all be playing the updated game before Christmas!
(a German great-grandfather to his grandson in 1914 promising to continue a board game of the era as he was heading for the Front!)

OH YES! Beneath Hill 60 is excellent. I saw that last week. I'm also watching: Lost Battalion, All Quiet on the Western Front 1930s version, Blue Max, Christmas Truce, The Trench, Light Horsemen, Gallipoli, Warhorse and lots of You-Tube Documentaries by the BBC. I also ordered "37 Days" which is a new film on the outbreak of war in 1914.
There don't seem to be too many flicks from the German perspective. At least I cant find many.
