Locating new units

New to the game so I have some noob questions I guess...

New units are created in different cities. When I create 10 new divisions I find it a bit exhausting to go through the cities one by one and get the new units out of the city to the region I want them.
Is there an easy way how to tell the new units to go somewhere and wait there ?

I also don“t understand completely the fort capturing. I besieged Metz fort and won after assaulting it. Is the fort still usable so I can use it if the germans come back or is it destroyed ? Can I actually destroy the forts somehow ?
How long does it ususally take to capture the fort without assaulting it ?

Thanks

There aren't any sort of 'waypoint' mechanics - you get to see in the log when new units are finished though and can then move them to the regions you want them in.

If you capture a fort it's still there, and usable. There's a special order available to destroy structures, which I'm almost certain will work for fortresses... maybe; I have to double check that.

Welcome to the forums rulezcz :wavey:

As to length of time to capture a fort, it depends on the defenders and supply. You have to get breaches, then a lucky roll of the dice. Also, if they have a supply wagon in the fort, they get a 2nd roll of the dice if they try to surrender. If the fort can stay in supply (ocean supply for example), then it won't surrender quickly. The best indicator that you are winning the siege is seeing the breach icon going up. If that is not increasing, then you are not getting anywhere. You need more artillery.
