Ah, machine-gun with dog traction, I have seen pictures of the Dutch army in WWI that used them as well.

Well, the Dutch didn't have the opportunity to use them in anger :-)
But dog traction was very common for small carts at the time around here.
My great grandfather did have a dog cart to go sell his groceries to farmers.
So it would have been without many surprises.

I remember a photo in a book i have where you can see dog traction used for small supply wagons in AH army... the most interesting thing is the muzzle all nations use for dogs, very heavy and usually metalic looks like all nations know the problems with hydrophobia and i think read something about use "9mm" cure

The reason I'm really truly excited about this game is that the existing world war one gold is a good game and I'm not knocking it at all. It's not quite an ageod title. It's something different. Unless you're into this area then investing the time into learning world war one gold is probably less appealing. This game is using ageod mechanics. Its accessible to all. Too little attention has been paid to the Great War in video games. You CAN make a good strategy game for this era. It's not boring in the slightest. This year has seen the renaissance of world war one games. This game in particular is going to show a whole lot of people that this is a fascinating story. This is the most anticipated game of all time for me its the world war one game I've always hoped would be made. Everyone here in this community im convinced will be blown away by how good it is on release.

WW1 Gold released by them was Good, but had several flaws, i am hoping for a much better and more rounded off game in this one.

I agree completely. WWI is also the most relevant conflict for anyone living today because it led directly to WWII and all you need to do is watch/read the news to see we are having to deal with problems that directly arose from the aftermath of WWI. I guess too many people hear WWI and they immediately think of muddy and static trenches and just write the war off as boring. Pity for them and the treatment that WWI has received in gaming. I am so glad that AGEOD has taken up the torch and given WWI the full AGE treatment.

True,
Entire Eastern European Problems and Middle East problems directly traced back to the Great War.
Also Oil, Chemical Warfare, Espionage, Aviation, Mechanisation etc.

Vicentius, i know is not a Lebel... but doesnt looks like a Berthier... to be fair it looks a lot like a Mauser 1898, look the but, near the trigger, is like the hump on this model.
