Everyone, it was not made clear unfortunately, that we will need your AGEOD forum name included in the beta applications, so as some of you have already done, if you did not include it in your application, please PM it to me together with your e-mail address.

Thank you!

We all only hope that we will be chosen to test the game :innocent:

I really hope I'm going to be chosen to test the game! I'm in love with the AGEOD game PON already, also because the First World War is my favorite theme in history!

I have used the opportunity of a new WW1 game to make a forum account here and apply for the beta as well. The beta application on the Matrixgames page requires me to enter my forum account and password, which I for some reason do not feel comfortable about, so I used the one on the AGEOD page. I hope it doesn't make a difference. :)

Also man do I dislike the question "what makes you a good tester?". I always want to put stuff in why I probably wouldn't be a good tester, like potential lack of time.

By the way, how exactly do I apply for the beta? I have sent a pm to Tamas, but do I need to do something else?

Sorry, but I'm abit confused here.

Go to the Matrix Game site and at the top of the page there is a link for betas. Choose TEAW and the application page will come up. Or you can go to Surtur's post in the News Sub-Forum announcing the beta and there is a link in the post.

You have two ways to apply:
matrixgames.com/beta/cnda.asp?gid=533 or ageod.com/beta/cnda.asp?gid=533
(I can't post links yet, only after 5 posts I guess).

I used the ageod one, because it required less data to be entered. Data austerity :)

Hello Jim-NC.

By the way, how is the beta going to happen? Are players able to use a work in progress manual to get into the game or are there already in-game tutorials present to help them understand the mechanics? Or is it all in the non-visible beta forum by asking questions?

I'm not going to apply. I don't think I'd do beta justice time-wise and I'm not real good with these games, even though I really like them. I will put in a good word for Herrdan. He has an excellent AAR going on in Pride of Nations and seems to understand the systems very well.

Not sure if people can or will respond here when they are accepted. I read the NDA, but cannot quite figure out if it does contain a request to not disclose information when you are accepted or not, so better not comment on it then. Doesn't help that it seems to be in a foreign and especially bureaucratic/statutory language.

I'd be able to put in a massive amount of time and Will do so in a heartbeat. I have many hours in on all aged titles and im someone who lives and breathes the Great War. In complete honesty if I only got one wish for good then it would be to become a part of the beta. My schedule extremely friendly to beta testing intensely and I've always wanted to be part of a beta for ageod. This is a good company and a great community and if I can be part of the beta I can give a lot back.

Its the least I can do for asking questions constantly :p

Some times is a question of luck, for example in a game i reproduce a bug that developers were searching for months... same in betas, is incredible how certain bugs survive even under hundreds of eyes until they miss their camo...

Usually single player offer more beta time, multiplayer is harder if you dont have over 2 games at same time, is like with full games where in multi you play more searching something diferent at least in my case.

For me all games are betas they are never finished, even great things are not perfect

I hope everyone that has applied and posted here gets on the beta and that you all give us good information, within the boundaries you are set, of course, and we all enjoy the experience.
