It would appears that you are saving the saved games with the old scheme, i.e in the game main directory? This can cause issues, depending of what is the game ...

You probably have by now a faulty HST file, 0 byte, you'll have to restore a previous turn to continue your game.

TGroup.CanUseSpecOrder 1008378 E. Sumner' Command Exception caught: Violation d'accès à l'adresse 0084E912 dans le module 'CW2.exe'. Lecture de l'adresse 0000001C DebugStep: 90
But the game continued and E.Sumner was active....

The main memory is not in fault, but the video card needs a lot of dedicated memory. What is the one you have, is it using dedicated or shared memory?

What you can do is reduce memory usage to 25% and see what happens, this generally stabilize the game.

Still, have you tried to reduce memory usage down to 25%?
