Too big for his britches

Help moderators!
The thread Points to Know - CSA now exceeds the allowable limit for a posting. All attempts to update receive the following error message.
"Errors
The following errors occurred with your submission
• The text that you have entered is too long (60034 characters). Please shorten it to 60000 characters long."
Is there a way around this, or do I need to split the thread into 2 separate postings?
