can't load game

Having played CW2 since it has come out I have encountered my first technical fault.
When I load my opponents turn I get a critical error message.
He has re- saved and re-sent but no difference.
Save files and log attached (hopefully!).

Looks like we have solved the problem - I was unaware that my opponent has upgraded to the new patch which is not save compatible.
