In Game Update?

I keep seeing advertisements that "...players can run “Check for Update” via the game menu...".
Yet when I launch the game, I do not see such a choice.
What am I overlooking?

Mine was in the start menu, in all programs, (in the same folder as the game start). However, it did not connect for me (it gave me an error).

Thanks for the clue.
I found the application in the same windows folder as the game.
It worked for me.
Personally, I find having to search for a game update application as ... less than elegant.
To me, it seems to make a better game experience to see the update option as one of the choices when starting the game.
But since I am not writing the code ...

Have you tried the true update menu in the Matrix launcher (which is proposed for Ageod too)

No.
However, I did find that using the 'Autorun' application did the trick.
I had been launching from the game executable. Switching to the other program solved the issue.
