I have played a bunch against the AI as CSA, but never PBEM. I am an experienced PBEM gamer (mostly HPS and John Tiller Battles and campaigns). I love civil war history and enjoy the experience of a live opponent even if I lose. I am not familiar with any of the mods. If you want to school a rookie send me some info on the mods you use and which side and scenario you prefer. You can email me directly at larrygmills@yahoo.com if you would like. Sorry, but I live in the country will lousy satellite internet, so I can only email turns back and forth, but I am semi retired and can return turns very fast.

There's a forum for looking for PBEM opponents: PBEM and multiplayer matchups (all games)

You might want to try your luck there
