Hello, sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, I didn't find it...


As the Union by 1864 (usually in a game where the south is pretty well done but I'm still having fun) I have so many units and so many divisions that when I create a new division there is no name at the bottom. You know what I mean, under the portrait of the general there is usually a division name, but I am guessing that the names run out after a certain point.

Is there any way to add some additional division names so this does not happen?

I have not tried it but adding to that list should solve your problem

Wish you could wild card it for the generals name like the LeaderFleetName above it .. but tried that and failed

I'm not sure where the setting is, but the Confederates, which also have the ordinal division names in their faction file, can also be forced to use those; I've seen it during beta testing.

So I assume that the Federals can also be allowed to use divisions named after their commanders.

I shall have a play with that then

May be as simple as replacing LargeCombiName with something like LeaderArmyName and using that wildcard
