CSA: too much money, conscript and Lee died...

Hi,

After a long break, I m back on ACW2. But I notice significant change. Playing as the CSA, now I m in january 1863, I ve got a lot of money, conscript. Does anyone else have the same "issue"?

And second bug, I thought that 3* general cannot get killed, and I saw Lee dying during a fight...

What the hell is going on? I want to be poor and have difficulty to recruit my army as it was before :D

I'm now at work, but I will put screen shoot this evening, cause it's hard to believe ^^

PS: sorry for the mistakes, I tried my best, as you can read, english isn't my mother tongue

Did you not build any industry or blockade runners? If you neglect to invest in things that produce war production, you're left without the capacity to build anything, meaning you have tons of left over money and recruits.

Three star generals can die, although rarely. About every 5 pages on this forum there's a "WHAT THE HECK!" message about Grant being captured or 3 star Stonewall killed.
There's also the fun cheat about sending crappy 3 star Union generals off to the boondocks to get captured. Because Beast Butler needs to be in command of the Ft Pickens garrison.

I bought 2-3 industry for WS and 2 blockade runners. I earn 50-70 WS per turn. My army has a pretty good size ( 100/140 ratio between me and US) and i don't have use partial and total mobilisation...
Last time i played, I was out of conscript during summer 62 and used the partial mob to recruit and complet the losses. At that time the US army was twice bigger as mine. I will put all screen shot this evening.

There has never been a difference in vulnerability for leaders any leaders. It has always been .2% per battle.

I've never seen that kind of $$ before. The industry purchases you made, were they Iron Works? If not, you only got a few extra WS per turn, whereas an IW gives you 24 WS/turn. At that point in the war I am usually low on money but swimming in WS from my Iron Works and captured rifles.

If i remember correctly i bought the IW in VA and in SC, and I used the money decision that gives you 4% inflation only once, my inflation is now aout 4-5%.
Thats why I m making this post, because it's the firstime I have so much money and conscript (and still have partial and full mob) and I don't see where is the issue, CSA shouldn't have that much...

It's 0.2% chance.

Yup, that's been some bad luck, but it happens. I lost my CIC Meade assaulting a fort once; a shell exploded under his horse, which reared up, tipped over backwards and landed square on the poor ol' snapping turtle, and he never recovered from his injuries. I also once lost Brig.Gen. Grant in a small battle near Bowling Green, which meant that Sherman also does not appear--aside from his general depression at the time, never having had Grant to bolster his confidence, he just retired from the Army and faded out of history... :( ... But I still won ;)

There *used* to be some events specific to certain leaders (Van Dorn's death comes to mind) that gave some leaders an increased chance of being removed from the game but they aren't related to battles. Much of it is still in the event code but turned off. I could have sworn that in AACW some generals had increased deathchance percentages, but I haven't found that (yet) anywhere in CW2.

I can't speak to the money/WS situation except to say I'm envious.
